Shipping & Returns


In the web store we offer shipping to US customers via FedEx and USPS. Both carriers have suspended delivery guarantees during severe weather conditions and amid the pandemic. Please be sure to check with the carrier for the most up to date information on their shipping policies. We ship all orders for which product is in stock within 1 business day. Overnight and 2nd day air orders are shipped the same day as long as the order is received before 1 PM Central Time.

  • USPS First Class – Untrackable and inexpensive. Once the USPS takes the package we have no more data or control over it. Used at your own risk and you are responsible for all claims filings with the USPS 45-90 days after shipment. USPS has been experiencing delays.
  • Priority USPS – Guaranteed and trackable. Generally arrives in one week or less and is a good budget option.
  • FedEx Ground – Guaranteed and trackable. Generally arrives in one week or less and is a good budget option.
  • FedEx 2nd Day/Next Day Air – High speed delivery for when you need it now. Not necessarily the most inexpensive option, but very reliable barring extreme weather. Transit time is guaranteed from when FedEx picks up the package, not the shipment date. We can get the order to FedEx as long as we receive it before 1 PM Central Time.

As always, weekends, holidays, and extreme events impact all carriers. If your address is a PO box, you must use a USPS shipping method. We are not responsible for any misdelivery due to incorrect information you provided for shipment. We ship as efficiently as possible, but with lots of padding to ensure your product arrives safely. If you would like to return an item please send an email to Our staff will arrange a return within 30 days of purchase for items that are: 1) unused in original packaging, 2) unmodified, 3) damaged during shipment, 4) incorrect item. If the product was purchased more than 30 days prior to the return request or was altered in any way Leeman Geophysical LLC reserved the right to deny the return request. Orders of $500 or more are subject to a 5% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged or defective. All returns must receive an RMA number from support before being shipped back to us. Returns should include all parts and accessories originally shipped with the product including the packaging, otherwise your return may be denied. Return funds are issued to the original payment method and may take up to 2 weeks to process after receipt of your return. We suggest shipping via a trackable and insured carrier as we are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. There are a few products for which we cannot accept returns: lithium based batteries, NiMH batteries, alkaline batteries, products containing lithium based batteries, products purchased over 30 days ago, old version releases, and non-restockable products. Returns are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but we want to help you, we just ask for your honesty in return.

International Shipping

We can ship internationally to most countries except Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. There are also some products considered controlled technology that could be mis-used and are regulated by the US Government. Therefore we do not allow direct international ordering via the website. Please submit a quote request or contact to get your order quote and shipping quote. A $5 handling fee is added to the shipment cost. Generally we offer USPS and DHL delivery, but will work with you to determine the appropriate carrier and rate.

We do our best to follow all rules, regulations, and laws around exporting and export compliance. Pretty much every international order will incur fees such as, but not limited to, VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, customs clearance charges, etc. You are responsible for payment of all of these fees and any fees incurred to Leeman Geophysical during the shipment process. If you do not comply we cannot provide any refunds for the product. Packages will be shipped at their actual value and not be marked as “gift”, “sample”, or otherwise to reduce your duty requirements.
