Precision Tilt Meters

Precision tilt meters (PTMs) are designed to sense very small changes in tilt about two axes. Applications range from geophysical to glaciological to structural engineering and structure monitoring. Our PTMs are the most advanced in the industry with easy to use interfaces, premium fine threaded leveling feet, tough housings, useful metadata, and many other innovative design features. Tilt meters are offered in +/- 0.5, 1, 3, and 10 degree ranges with resolutions as low as 0.1 microradians (that’s 0.000006 degrees!).

Precision – it’s in the name

Measuring tilt is tricky business, the line of precision tilt meters developed by Leeman Geophysical employ electrolytic tilt sensor technology to bring precision to a portable form factor that is affordable and rugged enough for field deployment.

High Resolution ADC

The 24-bit ADC system and unique signal processing circuitry developed by our team provide you with the most accurate portable surface tilt sensor available in an easy to setup package.

IP67

Built for life in the field, the enclosure is made of billet 6061 anodized aluminum and tested to be IP67 compliant dust proof and water proof to 1m for up to 1 hour.
