The Rescheduled GEARS Workshop
While we understand that the initial postponement might have been disappointing, we’ve used this time wisely to ensure that the 2023 GEARS Workshop is an even more enriching and valuable experience for all participants. We are committed to providing you with top-notch content, hands-on learning opportunities, and a chance to supercharge your scientific journey.
Why the Postponement?
We had a few unforeseen schedule conflicts for some participants as well as concerns about the field component of the course. The weather this summer has been brutal with the initial workshop week having temperatures over 100 degrees most days. We were concerned for the health and safety of participants conducting field deployments of instruments in these conditions.
Save the New Dates
Mark your calendars for November 6th to 10th, 2023. This is your chance to gain essential technical skills, interact with experts, and unlock your scientific potential. We worked with all registered participants and potential new students on these dates, so we hope this rescheduled timeframe accommodates your schedule.
Now, here’s what you need to know to secure your spot:
- Registration Deadline: October 20, 2023
- Location: Gentry, AR
As we anticipate a high level of interest in this rescheduled workshop, we strongly encourage you to register as early as possible. Our workshops maintain a small, intimate size to ensure that each participant receives personalized attention and support. Currently we are at about 2/3 capacity as of this writing.
